Well yes and no. The catylitic conveter is attached to the mainifold and the part is generally around 1500 for the front. Now you would have to get a mechanic that can actually do the job. because most shops dont know that the converters are attache…
I have an 06 and they want 3400 to do mine, is there anything that can be done
Im over 100,000 miles though that was the problem
If you had under 100,000 miles and took it to a dealership, it shouldn't have cost you anything.
When my check engine went off I took my 04 in and was told my cats were bad. I didnt think much off it but when I got the bill it was $2500 because they are attached to the manifold. WTF!
